Research

My current research interests include:
  • Pediatrics
    • Genetics
    • Physiology
    • Immunology/ Infectious Diseases
    • Diabetic Iron Studies

I want to earn my PhD in Pediatric Genetics, Physiology or Immunology and own a lab dedicated to improving the quality of life for minority youth. Research indicates that a disproportionate number of minority children arepredisposed to a lot of diseases genetically or because of the type of environment they grew up in. Learning more about the various diseases that affect them and taking that knowledge to the lab to find cures, answers or even better ways to make their lives manageable is a dream goal of mine.

Research Advisor

My research advisor currently on campus is Dr. Han
